In order for others to have happiness, you must sacrifice some thingsNo im not depress or heartbroken. Being the oldest child of the family requires a lot of responsibilities. You can't be rash or selfish, but you must think about others before you consider your own needs. With these responsibilities, you're limited to do things for your own need. Yesterday I didn't have the best of days, but while doing my quiet time, this verse really reminded me why I am alive.
Matthew 5:13-16:
You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? ... You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid... Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
Being the salt of the earth is important, so in a way, we should be making people happy and being the light to the world.
